The expenses covered by Rhodes Scholarship are:
The University of Oxford tuition and application fees, annual stipend (£14,276 per annum 2016 -2017), airfare (economic flight) to Oxford for the start of the program an back to the Scholar’s home country at the end of the program, Access to UK’s National Health Service (covered by Trust for the duration of a Scholar’s tenure, the number of years covered depends on the choice of course.
In general, Rhodes Selection Committees are looking for persons of outstanding intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service from 23 Rhodes constituencies worldwide.

- All applicants must have achieve academic standard sufficient to ensure admission to University of Oxford. Individual constituency may give some specifications on the education requirements. Applicants should check carefully for his/her constituency’s education requirements.
- The age limits generally ranges from 18years minimum to a maximum of 28years by first of October of the year after selection. But the age limits varies for each constituency. Hence applicants should check the age requirements of the constituency for which he\she is applying.
